A while back, my friend sent me a text saying she made me a clock with some wood she milled from a tree that the wind decided to smash over.(we get a lot of wind)
Anyways, with the lockdown kinda lifted I was able to go for a few hour drive for a round of golf and a visit, as well as my nieces confirmation. Here's what she was able to make with the tree.
So this is awesome, its about 5' high, and it looks good with my live edge furniture my nefew and I built last year. The hands are a bit small, I may need to look for longer ones, but they're the ones that came with the movement.
Anyway, pretty cool to have good friends that think of you when you are all alone in a quarantine world.
