They say practice makes perfect and that particularly applies to lightpainting "orbs" It's been a while since I spun an orb and this was my best effort this evening:
For the above shot I placed a gelled Godox AD200 at the back of the frame out of sight and fired the flash. I then picked my "spot" and spun the orb tool on the same reference point on the floor and walked towards the camera for a depth effect. The orb tool is created by Denis Smith and his "Ball of Light TM" (Google it!)
