I am lucky enough to have a location near to me which has ancient sesille oak trees. fadetoblack@fadetoblack and I have been back many times to shoot this place in the dark:

For this shot, Tim positioned a LED Lenser X21r2 flashlight (aka the "beast") at the back of the frame with my newly acquired yellow cellophane. Tim then provided a huge chuff of vape (thanks to his lungs!) and posed while I took the lens cap off to expose for the scene. Prior to this I had started the exposure by aiming the camera on a different tripod with a different lens pointed at an iPad with a pre-prepared ripple pattern. The aim here is to shoot all in one photographic exposure and involved two lenses and two tripods during the process.

We have spent many a night in Padley:

Here we set up some footlights (really it's a camera rotated laser pen):

We have taken along a camera rotation device more than once:

Check out the rocks and gnarly trees:

And on the old footbridge across the river we've spun a few sparks:

About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
