LUPD Challenge! Success and challenges faced

Today mark another day for the LPUD, Leo token power up day. It’s an exciting day because it’s a day we also help the inleo project as an individual by powering up.

According to stats, it shows that May 2023 has the hive power up in the year 2023 and we hope to beat that record as time goes on. I did my power up today and I will be sharing with you the challenges and success I faced while trying to power up.

Firstly, I’m glad that we have different frontend for Hive which has made things very easy for many hivers. After I read the post made by @leogrowth concerning the power up, I made my move but I encountered some challenges which I’m sure some people might face.

The first frontend I used trying to power up was the inleo fronted. After I login, I went to my profile and clicked on my wallet. My wallet appeared and I planned to power up 150 $leo but to my dismay I was having just 148 $leo . I went ahead to power up 50 $leo but there was an error

After inputing the amount of Leo I would like to power up, I was taken to hivesigner to approve the transaction but it kept on being the error message. There are two things that would have caused this

• 1 Either the site is having an issue or
• 2 There was no active key initially while logging in

I suspect it would be the second one, so I logged out and tried logging in with my posting and active key for a successful transaction. The more I try to login with both keys the more the error message shows and asking me to either retry or send an error message.

I kept on trying this for a while but to no avail. I opt for Ecency API to see if I would be able to power up successfully but I was unable to because I would require my active key which the API did not provide an input space for.

I was getting a little frustrated already because nothing seems to work. I left the Ecency App and tried the Ecency web version. The web version is also easy to use and user friendly just like the inleo web version.

Lucky me, I place my request to power up 50 $leo the active key was requested and I imputed it, just like that I was able to power up 50 leo.

I really wish I had power up 150 Leo so I can get my badge from @hivebuzz but I guess there is always a next time and the time time I would do my best to power up more than what I did this month. If you’re having hard time powering up, you can just do the same thing I did and you’re good to go.
