What do you know is meant by August visitor? On my side of the world, we term unexpected visits as August visitors. It doesn't matter the time of the month you get the visitors, but what makes it an August visit is the unannounced visitation.

A day with my cute little cousins

We live in a bungalow and we have a little family size, our house is not too big but yet the favorite place for my cousins to visit which I don't know why. It was very early in the morning when I was still preparing to go back home after my examination when I got the call from my mom that we have got August visitors. I wasn't too surprised but her reply gave me the surprise I needed, my sister and her 3 kids were around, the oldest among them is 11 years old. My mom's brother's wife also came for a visit with her 2 kids, the oldest between them is Annabel and she's just 6 years old. Then lastly, my dad's close friend brought his kids for the holiday too. 3 of them, praise, Emmanuella, and Isaac.

I got home and I met our home filled with children and it was lovely. I have always loved kids but the trouble these children made me go through is making me have another thought.

Meet Agatha, the youngest among all the kids. She's 3 years old and the most troublesome of all. Probably because she's a little kid that's why it's hard for me to control her. When I ask her to sit, that's the time she would want to stand up. I remember, I was in my and I heard her loud cry since all the moms have to refuse to stay at home. I went to the sitting room to see what was happening and I saw her big sister (Annabel) standing in front of her, I asked what happened and I was told Annabel collected a bottle cover from her. So, what's there to cry about? I had to pet her for a long time before she stop crying and she slept immediately.

Meet Annabel

This is Annabel and my sister. Annabel is the only kid that's freer with me, the others are probably acting like grown-ups which they are not. Wait until it's food time and you would know they are still kids, they love eating and watching television. Annabel is very gentle and smiles a lot, the only time she wouldn't smile is if I give Agatha candy and I have nothing for her

Also, she is very lovely. She's always the first to come to wake me up when I'm still sleeping. She will say "wake up wake up, it's morning" I would be wondering it if was my mom that sent her on that dangerous mission to wake me up.

They look all nice and cool, so painful I don't have a picture of Micheal. I hope when he is grown and he reads this blog, he won't be mad at me. They are all cute little kids but being their big uncle for a day, I almost employed a nanny. So how did I get things back in control? I just connected my laptop with the television and make them watch anime (Kuruko no basketball) and they love it.

I was saved. I wish I had taken pictures each with them but most of them traveled back to their city before the initiative came to me. Just praise, Emmanuella, and Isaac are left and I won't miss this chance.
