A beautiful day set for us again. This is my entry in response to week 62 edition 2 of the engagement which focuses on poor time management as I decided to title it the effects of poor time management.
This theme is highly timely for me because this is what I have been battling with and hoping to become a master in it.
Poor time management entails one's inability to make use of time properly as a result of certain factors which can be physical, spiritual, financial etc. Some times these factors can really be averted by Deliberate efforts and discipline.
Poor time management is the inability to achieve tasks, goals, or have a planned schedule accomplished.
I will share how I poorly managed time and it's effects and how I was able that scale through that. I hope my experience would add flavour to your life.
There was a time when I was working with an organisation and had the privilege to be the chief customer service officer. We had clients from different sectors and spheres of life which also includes youth corp members. Attending to such calibre of people wasn't an easy thing however God really helped us at the end.
Most at times when such customers intrude into the office I became confused in attending to them was quite challenging especially when they want to pay some fees. The way they approach me it normally dis balance me. Working amongst young people of such kind requires high level of wisdom and conscious of time.
There was a training I ought to take which supposed to last for just few weeks but due to poor time management, I couldn't finish at a good time instead took me almost two months. This happened as a result of procrastination, lack of adherence to the curriculum and my lack of proper follow up.
Time is the most valuable assets that must be properly managed to achieve any notable results. The major set back to this is procrastination but it can be handled when there's daily to do list, supervision and diligence in following schedule, and avoiding any form of distraction. It might not be easy but one must just be deliberate about it. The secret of high performance, efficiency and productivity Lies in the shores of quality time management.
See you at the top.
