Update On @Farms Setting Up poultry Farm

Few months ago @farms embarked on a project to start a poultry farm and create job opportunities outside the steemit community, plans where layered out and @farms was able to rent a piece of land for the whole year for the primary purpose of practicing homestead and other form of agricultural practices.

The task of maintaining and managing @farms Poultry farm was given to @ilovewriting who is also a member of this sub-community, so far so good the project has been running smoothly and we have been seeing good results.

Setback

The general setback this project has been facing is providing poultry feed at as when needed and this issue is under review by @abiye (@farms manager). @farms has been up on thier toes supporting this project with any means possible and we have been able to drafted out strategic on how to manage funds generated from our daily post to yield good results on this project and future projects to come.

Disease Outbreak and Provided solution

Few weeks ago an outbreak of disease attacked our poultry farm which took the lives of 4 poultry birds, it was a shocking experience but control measures was immediately put in place, affected birds where isolated and given treatment...... and at the time of writing this post all affected birds are fine and in good condition.

Set Out Date For Poultry Sales

The poultry birds has been budgeted to been on sale at the ending of November 2018, plans are been made to ensure massive harvest and large turn out...... members of @farms and @steemchurch can contact brother @abiye to place their order at a cheaper rate.
