Joining #hive has been a learning experience for me. I have acquired some new computing skills, learned about preparing different foods from all over the world, peeked into cultures and rituals of people I will never meet, but feel like I know. Reinforced my belief, that most people are good at heart. It's been such a exciting ride, and I just want to keep handing in my ticket, let's go again.

I have always enjoyed photography, taking pictures by the boatful. I am on a quest at the moment to experiment with #blackandwhite #photography . I was happy to find this awesome community with some real pros exhibiting their creations. Some of the photos I've viewed are truly interesting and inspiring.

As most of us know, you could shoot 50 pictures and find only 1 that really grabs you. But isn't that the real challenge. Seeing the light, reflections, faces or shadows, all are unique to that particular photo. The Bonus , it's just so much fun!

These photos were taken while traveling home, climbing up the winding roads to our #homestead in the mountains of Upstate NY. We just drove into the clouds.

The sun was trying her best to burn through the cloud cover.

The landscape had a mystifying feel, as the clouds fell over the trees.
