TOURIST/CHAIR/AMUSMENTS
There is no other beach I love more than the Jersey shore. With it's world famous boardwalk full of amusements and fun rides for kids of every age, it's truly an exciting experience, especially for children.
I was raised on family vacations at the Jersey shore.
It was the highlight of my childhood. Each summer our family would spend a whole week "down the shore".
It was awesome. On the Wednesday night of our stay, we went to the boardwalk . That was fireworks night. We ate pizza, cotton candy, French fries and fudge. We would walk the wooden planks for the whole evening, stopping at the arcade to play some pinball or bowling, as we collected tickets to turn in for "Prizes"
Best part, my dad would go to the ticket booth and buy a bundle. We knew then we were going to the pier to get on the crazy rides we all were craving for. All seven of us would line up as instructed and were given our own tickets. Each of us were given the choice , which ride would we spend our tickets on.
For my three brothers it was easy, they were fearless and would quickly choose the scariest, highest, out over the ocean rides.
Will you look at that, another chair for tourists to ride.
Seaside Heights was the place to be in the summer.
The excitement is still there for all the kids.
The amusements and rides are bigger and better now, but the Jersey shore is still the place we go to every summer.
