Greetings to my esteemed friends on the Cent platform and the entire hive blockchain. It's another day and time to share with you things that'll change your life for the better and how one can know the difference between being patient and being foolish. It's your friend @faquan, saying hello from this part of the world.
I'll start this post with a question, does every patient dog eat fat bone? What happens to a patient dog when there's no bone remaining for them?
The truth is that patience as a virtue is what I'll advise everyone both far and near desire to get, but I've discovered that most claim to have patience when in reality they're exhibiting foolishness.
I once talked to a senior friend in church who reported that his younger sister wants to send him away from their family house after the death of their mom. Mind you he's to first child and by custom and tradition, he's the one to inherit the said apartment. When I asked him to take immediate action, he told me that he wants peace to reign and he'll exercise patience with his younger sister. I immediately asked him to vacate the building for his sister, but he refused. After awhile he told be that he took action following pressure to extinguish his right.
If this illustration isn't clear enough, let me use a more simpler example. Someone is threatening to kill you with a knife and is about to stab you and you have a gun in your pocket, instead of you to make use of the gun for self-defense, you now allowed the fellow to wound you badly and when your give report you said I was only patient. I'll say to you that you would've been patiently Killed.
Patience is actually a virtue that tries your faith to resist a certain situation but not an instrument to kill you. Many are just foolish.
Life is one and you need to protect it with all you have. Remember that not all patient dogs eat the fatest bone, you may even not see any bone at all. Be wise!
