@agmoore, I never even dreamed that in your developed country there was so much insensitivity among men towards women in the 60s-70s.
50 years ago, the problem of gender discrimination was probably in every country, but my heart was very sad to know about your experiences. You and other women were looked down upon simply because you were women, despite you having high educational degrees. It was really embarrassing. I myself worked as an administrative officer in the medical health department for more than 30 years, and in our department, there were many women working under me.
But I have always committed myself to their rights, their dignity, their interests, and the prompt payment of their pending dues.
And I requested my senior officers to do the same. Wherever I was posted, I made arrangements for the construction of women's sitting places and their toilets during my tenure. And due to doing these works, I used to get fame and I also felt self-respect.
Now I understand why you are so sensitive madam because you have seen many ups and downs in your life.
