You fool
Explain a situation in which you were involved when you came out looking foolish. What happened, why, and what did you learn.
My father was an engineer but the atmosphere in our house was kept in a very strict discipline. No one was allowed to do any mischief, at home we could not even talk aloud in front of the father. No child was getting any pocket expenses etc.
My father was known throughout his life as a very kind, honest and strict person. In our house, only very essential items were bought without which life would be impossible to go on.
The necessities at our house included some groceries, some toilet soap, and alma or coconut oil for use on head hairs only. Other than that no other cosmetic we knew.
Once I had come to my mother's sister's house with my elder sister during my summer vacation. These people were very rich and fond of cosmetics.
They had all the cosmetic items in their house in abundance. One day after taking a bath in the bathroom, I saw a beautiful bottle on the shelf in which there was a thick liquid like oil. I opened it and smelled it. It smelled very good.
I thought that maybe it was some very expensive foreign oil, and I decided to try it by using it on my head. Now I took a little dryness on the head with a towel and took a little something like this oil and applied it to the head. That's where my foolishness came to the fore. The hair on my head started foaming very huge quantities.
I was very scared to see this. I immediately covered my head with a towel and came out of the bathroom very fast. Both my elder sister and my mother's sister were sitting outside and talking to each other.
I secretly told my sister the whole thing. After hearing this, she started laughing loudly and said, Stupid "This is not oil, it is called shampoo, and it is used for washing hair, I also came to know about it yesterday ." Hearing this, my mother's sister also started laughing at my innocent behaviour.
And somehow, after taking a bath again, I removed that foam from my hair.
Now I have decided in my mind that in my whole life I will not touch that thing which I will not know about.
