That days when I was in charge of a team that used to check adulterated food items, medicines, etc. and also used to check the degrees of private doctors working in my field.
For this work, I had to travel long distances, and in many places, our team also had to face public opposition. But we also had a team of police with us who used to get us rid of any such anti-activities.
One day, while our team was campaigning to check the degrees of doctors in a town, we found a fake doctor running a nursing home along with his assistant, who must have been only 16–17 years old.
He was also caught with that fake doctor, but the boy said that he does not do any wrong work himself, and he stays with the doctor only for the purpose of helping the patients.
He also said that he wants to contribute in the future to medical work and the service of patients, but his father is a very poor person, so he has not been able to study at any high-level institutes.
I realised that the boy is telling truth and he is innocent, So I left him with a warning because of his age and because he was not involved in any crime.
We used to have frequent contact with such people. Due to this, after some time, I had forgotten this incident and, due to being too busy with my work, I had completely forgotten this boy too.
One day, when I was preparing the papers to send an important case to the court in my office, an office assistant told me that a boy was injured in an accident and was admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital. And that boy told the doctor on duty there before fainting that he knew me, and after that, the boy could not speak anything and become unconscious.
I was very busy at that time, yet as a human, I reached the emergency ward with my support staff and saw that a boy was admitted in a very critical state and his face was covered with oxygen devices. I did not find him as an identifiable person, yet thinking that he had taken my name, I instructed all the doctors and staff present there that this boy should be fully taken care of until he regained consciousness and for the treatment of this boy If there is a need for any medicine or other expenditure, then that money should be taken from me.
After about 15 days, the boy recovered and came to meet me in my office, and he reminded me how he knew me. At the same time, he thanked me wholeheartedly for my help and said, "Sir, please get me some work in your hospital. I also want to serve the patients."
I was very impressed by his words and got him admitted to the nursing training hospital at my own expense. The boy acted on his word, and he used to get nursing training during the day and used to serve the patients selflessly for a few hours at night.
After completing his training at the stipulated time, he became a perfect male nurse and he got a job as a male nurse in the same hospital, where today he is the most popular employee among the hospital's patients, officers, and colleagues.
He offered me several times to return the expenses done by me on his studies.
But I never accepted that offer because a small contribution from me had changed a boy's life. While I did not have any relation with that boy far and wide, perhaps God had approved this, that is why he was injured and admitted to my hospital on that day.
I also believe that you do not do anything yourself; there is an almighty who makes you do all this.
