Everybody might have read the popular quote of
how readers are great leaders
And so it is no more news to us..But why is it that many people still find it really difficult to show true interest in reading despite knowing that reading is very important?
I believe that many of us would really want to be great leaders in our chosen business or career , well the secret to achieve the success is to seek for the right knowledge that will make us to be able to get the success, we cannot get the knowledge if we are not willing to read and get informed...
Yes reading is not always easy for everyone to do , some People love reading alot while some do not like reading at all, but the truth is that you need to create a habit of reading if you want to be informed and if you want to have more knowledge..
The great thing about reading is that you do not need to read the whole books in a single day before you can consider yourself to be a reader, you can start little by little , even if it is just a one page information you read you will still gain alot from it..
We have to appreciate the power of knowledge and for us to get the knowledge we need to read and read , we need to learn, we cannot learn when we are not willing to read and get informed.
What is even more interesting is that when you grow a habit for reading , it will make you to find it convenient to show interest in any subject that you want, for example i can decide that I want to learn programming tomorrow and all I need to do is to first of all ensure that I am truly interested in it then the next thing to do is to get the right resources that I need to read to be able to understand programming and then I start practicing what I have read and learnt...
The internet even makes it possible for a person to have easy access to those resources which involves any subject of their choice and they can even access those resources for free..
When you make reading to become a habit, it gives you this kind of inner happiness that only you can understand, there is this feeling of joy you get when you read and you are acquiring knowledge and you are getting more wisdom from what you are reading especially when what you have knowledge about is even giving you income too , it is like killing two birds with just a stone..
What we should read should also depend on the subject that we have interest in , if for example you have interest in knowing more about cryptocurrencies then you should read resources that talks about cryptocurrencies. , if you want to know about marketing then grab resources which will educate you about marketing..
Whatever subject you have interest in , you just need to read about it and make sure you are prepared to keep acquiring the knowledge which you need..
