So you want to be an engineer and you are doing everything possible to make sure you become an engineer and make your dreams come true but you are surrounded with friends who are not interested in engineering and they keep discouraging you by giving you one billion reasons why you need to abandon your interests for engineering , they find various ways to make you feel you are picking the wrong career , and I am sure if you were not passionate about your love for that engineering then you might listen to them and follow the bad advice they gave to you..
Or you want to be a crypto investor and some people around you kept telling you that you should never invest on cryptos because they feel it is not good for you, they kept discouraging you and kept making you feel that investing on cryptos is a bad decision to take, if you too are ignorant of the benefits of investing on cryptos and you decided to listen to them, then after a while you realised you could have become wealthy if you had listen to your own decisions and not listen to what others were telling you....
Or you are that person who is passionate about having a music career, then some certain people kept telling you that you do not have what it takes to be successful in a music career , they tell you how your voice is not sweet enough, they keep telling you how your style of singing is not going to be good enough to help you have a successful music career , then because you do not even believe in yourself , you already agree with them and you decide to drop your music career and now your life is now looking so miserable to you
Those are just examples of what a person might face when they allow others to dictate their own path in life..
Everyone have their own path to take in life and because someone else feels your own path is not good enough does not truly mean your path is not good , it is just an opinion of the person and they say that opinion is like an ass ,everyone has it..
Your focus should be on your path to get success in life , you should not allow others to decide your own path for you , there is a reason why the passion was there at the first place.
so whenever you have passion to do some certain things and make some certain decisions, you need to stay true to them and you should not let anyone discourage you because it is your own path and you are the one that should solely decide how you want your path to be and how you want to run around it.
Be dedicated to your path because it is only when you are dedicated to it that is when you will be to easily avoid distractions while you are on your way to greatness.
