Vierfleck-Zartspinne ■ Buzzing spider
Anyphaena accentuata (Walckenaer, 1802)
Insects and spiders can also be found in winter. If you keep your eyes open and search for such motives, you will find them most of the time. I could discover several specimens of the Buzzing spider on a pile of wood under a tarpaulin. As young animals they spend the winter there, somewhat protected. With spring the spiders become active at night and hunt for smaller insects in the area. During the day they rest hidden in a web on a leaf. The spider lives as a forest dweller on deciduous trees and bushes.

For better illustration I have photographed the place of discovery. If you look closely, you can see a white spot above my tripod. This marks a web on which I photographed the female. The male is stronger in his drawing and rested directly on the canvas.
