I have observed that the problem with the blind is not that they cannot or wish not to see, but that the spirits/ideas/beliefs that possess them, do not want their host to see, and will do what they can to incite an emotional response that will lead the host to become irrational, dismissive and/or hostile.

I know that this sounds quite magical in a sense, and for sure it is, for there are so many more colours in this world than the average person has been permitted to take sight of. But it does make a lot of sense when you think about it.

Imagine for example, the Prophets of scripture. They preach to the people a message of repentance, and the people wish to have them executed for it. People who before this message of repentance were against the idea of murder, and were only asked, really, to turn away from their lesser ways of wickedness.

But those wicked ideas that dwell within the listeners, and subtly influence their thoughts and behaviours, recognise the spirit of God and of Goodness within the Prophet, and know the words leaving that Prophet's mouth to be a danger to them. For if the host were able to truly hear, and to truly understand what the Prophet is communicating to them, it would start them on a journey that would ultimately lead to those spirits/ideas/beliefs being expelled from the host - and this they do not want.

For you and I, it is so utterly obvious what is going on. And the spirits behind it, know how obvious it is to us, and they taunt us, knowing that those who believe the lies will continue to believe the lies. None of these issues are really complicated. The question "is it okay to vaccinate children?" if reworded to "is it okay to inject poison into children?" becomes a question one does not even need to deliberate over. But we have imagined for ourselves a concept we call the greater good, which we use as a springboard to begin our mental gymnastics aimed at, in every single instance, justifying evil. But inherently I believe that we all know that if we abandoned this notion of the greater good and were simply good right now, that there would be no need for the concept of the greater good because everything would genuinely be good. The spirits, however, blind us to this oh-so-simple truth of existence.

I too have wasted countless hours attempting to awaken my family to the truth. In the end it only turned them all against me. But I will note that it was not any person who knew a truth I did not that opened my eyes to what was in front of me. It was trauma, brought about by own misdeeds. I think that trauma is necessary in order to permit the opportunity for someone to see the truth, and so we have to allow them to live their lives until they arrive at a point where they can no longer stomach the bullshit, and then be there to guide them towards truth when they are ready and receptive to it.

I think our time would be better spent inspiring those who have retained at least some of their sight, and who are open to new and good ideas, in the direction of taking action against evil. Perhaps, if we do that, then our actions and the actions of those that we inspire, can serve as an example to those newly awakened souls that emerge every single day. Then they would not find themselves trapped in a loop of YouTube videos, many of which are aimed at returning blindness to those who have had their first taste or hunger for sight.
