Hello everyone, I hope you all are well and doing good.

I am here again after a long time and directly participate in the ongoing contest without wasting any time. It is a participation post or the contest. Everone welcome to participate in contest by adalger@adalger. Here is the official contest link. A few days ago I visited a park where I took my camera to get flowers photographs and other beautiful sceneries.

I was walking and this butterfly was flying near me and sit on a leaf. I turned on my camera and attach the macro lens. Unfortunately, I had a 10X macro lens was that time. I got closer and it flew away but I did not give up and follow it.

After some time it allows men to take shots but from a distance. So I take these close-up shots and then it again flew away and I gave up.

Introduction

This butterfly belongs to a well known family Lycaenidae. The pale grass blue butterfly, Pseudozizeeria maha, is a tiny butterfly that is found primarily in South Asia.

Male In certain lights, the upperside is a silvery pale blue with a satiny shine. The apical half of the costa is narrowly fuscous black, and the terminal edge is fuscous black for various widths, limited externally on the latter by an indistinct anteciliary black line. Hindwing: the costa is broad, the termen is narrower, and the dark edging is similarly varied in width as in the forewing; there is also a diffuse and ill-defined subterminal series of spots darker than the fuscous margin.

Female upperside: brownish black with light blue basal halves of wings, anteciliary black lines on both forewings and hindwings, and an inconspicuous subterminal series of spots on the latter wing as in the male. The ground colour is darker, and the markings are larger and more well defined on the underside. Antennae, head, thorax, and abdomen are the same as in the male, but the thorax and abdomen on the upperside lack blue pubescence.
