Hello friends how are you all? I hope you all are doing well. I am also doing well. So today I am back again with a new Splinterlands post. Today I have reviewed a Water Splinter card. Its name is Ratbound Corsair. Its mana cost is 9 and it is a ranged attacker. And the interesting thing about it is the combination of its Close Range and Blast abilities. So now without wasting any time let's start its review.
First of all let me tell you about its stats. At max level its mana cost is 9. Its ranged attack is 3. Its speed is 4. Its health is 5 and it has 0 armor.
3 ranged attack is a good amount and 4 speed is also good. Because of its good speed it can attack quickly. But its health is only 5 and it has no armor. So this is its weak point.
Now let's talk about its abilities. At max level it has two abilities. Close Range and Blast.
Because of the Close Range ability Ratbound Corsair can also use its ranged attack from the first position. Normally a ranged monster cannot attack from the first position. But because of the Close Range ability it can attack from there. This ability is more useful when our frontline monster gets defeated and Corsair comes to the first position. It does not stop attacking and can continue to attack because of the Close Range ability.
Because of the Blast ability when this monster attacks an enemy the monsters on both sides of the enemy also receive 50% damage. And the previous card I reviewed also had this same ability. And I said that this is my favorite ability because with this ability three enemy monsters can get damage. So this is also my favorite ability on this card.
Now let's talk about which position is best for this card. In my opinion keeping it in the first position is not very suitable because it is not very powerful as a tank. If you have a better frontline tank then it is better to use that one in the first position.
But in my opinion the second position is best for it because if your frontline tank gets defeated then it can come from the second position to the first position and still use its abilities properly.
You can also keep it in the third position and you can also keep it in the backline because it can attack from different positions. So it does not make a very big difference where you place it. But personally I think the second position is best for it.
Now let's talk about its weaknesses. The first weakness is that its mana cost is high. So we cannot use it in low-mana battles. Its health is also low and it has no armor at all. This is another weak point. So these were its main weaknesses.
Now let's talk about my overall opinion. Overall I think it is a strong card. Especially because of the combination of its Close Range and Blast abilities. Its biggest strength is that because of the Blast ability three monsters can receive damage at the same time. And it can also attack from the first position.
But again its health is not very high. So if you ask me how many points I would give it out of 10 I would give it 8 out of 10.
So guys this was my review of this Splinterlands card today. I hope you liked it. If you liked my post then please let me know in the comment section and support me as always.
