Hello DIY Lovers!
How are you all? I hope you are doing well. I am doing great too. Today I am back again with a new DIY project. Today I made a very cute Pikachu using clay. I really love Pikachu so I thought why not make one with clay and use it as a decorative item? I can place it anywhere on my shelf or wherever I like. So I made it and I found it quite easy to create. That's why I thought of sharing its tutorial with all of you so you can make one too. This was my first attempt at making Pikachu. It is not that perfect but I gave my 100% while making it. I think if I make it one more time it will turn out even better because this was my first try and I made a few little mistakes.
So without wasting any time let's start making it!
Materials Needed
To make this cute Pikachu we need yellow clay, red clay, white clay, a black marker, some tools and scissors.
Making the Pikachu
First of all I took the yellow clay. I started by making its tail. To make the tail I shaped the clay into a Z shape. Then I made its edges a little sharp. After that I kept it aside. Then I took two small pieces of clay and made them a little longer. I kept them aside too because we will use them to make Pikachu's ears later. Next I took two pieces of clay in different sizes. One was a little bigger than the other. I rolled one piece into a round shape and gave the other one a slightly square shape. Now we will attach the round piece to the square piece. This will make Pikachu's head and body.
Making Hands, Legs and Ears
Now that the head and body are ready we will make two small clay balls and attach them to the lower part of the body. These will become Pikachu's legs. Using the same process we will make two more small balls for Pikachu's hands. After making the hands and legs we will attach the ears. One ear will be attached straight and the other one will be attached at a slight angle. Finally we will attach the tail too. And just like that our clay work is complete. The basic structure of Pikachu is now ready!
Adding Details
Now it's time to add the details. First I drew Pikachu's eyes, nose and mouth using a black marker. Then I colored its ears too. After that I took two very tiny pieces of white clay and placed them inside the eyes to give them a more realistic look. Then I took the red clay and made some very tiny round shapes. I attached them to Pikachu's cheeks. And just like that Pikachu's face is ready!
Final Result
