Hello friends how are you all I hope you all are fine I am also fine so today I made a mini purse I saw it on YouTube and I liked it a lot so today I thought I should make it because I also needed it I did not have a cover for my ear pods so I made it so I can keep my ear pods in it. And besides ear pods you can keep money keys lipgloss etc in it and it also looks very cute in hands. On YouTube I saw this in 3 colors but I liked the black one the most. It is a cat but to me it looks more like an owl. Does it look like a cat to you or an owl?
So let’s start making it. To make it we need these things. Black color yarn, Light pink color yarn, Dark pink color yarn, Eyes, UHU glue, 3.0mm hook, 2.5mm hook, Needle, Stitch marker, Keychain ring (optional). We need these things to make this mini purse.
To make it first take the black color yarn then make 17 chains then skip the first chain and from the 2nd chain make single stitches in all the chains. So we will have a total of 16 stitches. Before starting the next row make one chain and before starting every row making one chain is important. So make one chain and make single stitches in the whole row and do this for 13 rows. So one side of the purse is ready follow the same pattern and make the other side.
Now to connect the two sides we will make an applique. To make this make 6 chains then skip the first chain and in the remaining 5 chains make single stitches and before starting the next row make 1 chain then again make single stitches in the whole row now follow this pattern for 41 rows then attach it to both sides with a needle.
Now it is time to make the lid to make this on any side of the purse make 18 single crochet. Do this till row 11 the same way that before starting the next row you make 1 chain. After 11 rows at the start and end of row 12 make one decrease and in row 13 also do the same then cut the yarn because row 13 is the last row. To give the lid a neat look make single stitches around the lid.
Now it is time to make the ears at the start and end of the first row of the lid make 6 chains then skip the first chain and follow this pattern (1 single stitch 1 half double crochet 1 double crochet 1 triple crochet 1 triple crochet) in the remaining stitches then skip 3 stitches of the lid then in the 4th stitch attach it with a slip stitch. Make the second ear the same way.
Now it is time to make the face I first wanted to make the eye part with white yarn but that yarn was very thin and I had light pink yarn so I used that. Making the eyes is easy make a magic ring then make 6 single stitches in it. In row 2 make increases then in row 3 make 1 single stitch and 1 increase then close it with a slip stitch make another one the same way then glue it on the purse with UHU glue then glue the black eyes on it with UHU glue. To make the nose take dark pink yarn and stitch it in the center of both eyes so the face is ready now at the end to open and close the lid put a button.
