Hello Splinterlands lovers how are you all? I hope you all are doing well. I am also doing well. So today I am going to review another Splinterlands card for you guys and the name of the card is Dire Bear. It belongs to the Earth Splinter and its mana cost is 10 which means we can play it in high mana battles.
I was looking for some cards to review and suddenly I saw this card. And when I looked at this card I felt that there was something special about it. So that's why today I reviewed this card.
Okay now let's talk about its stats at Max Level. At Max Level its mana cost is 10 its attack is 3 and its attack type is Melee its speed is 4 its health is 9 its armor is 0 and its ability is Cripple.
Now let's talk about its ability. At Max Level it only gets one ability and that is the Cripple ability.
What this ability does is that when Dire Bear attacks someone and successfully hits them the enemy's maximum health is reduced by one point.
For example if the enemy's health is 10 after Dire Bear hits it its maximum health becomes 9. And if it is 8 after Dire Bear hits it its maximum health becomes 7. This means that until the end of the battle Dire Bear can make the enemy much weaker.
Now let's talk about its position, and which position is best for it. In my opinion the first position is best for it because its health is 9 its speed is 4 and its melee attack is 3. So if we place it in the front line it can directly attack the enemy and because of its Cripple ability it can repeatedly make the enemy weaker. So it should be placed in the first position. But if you have an even stronger tank then put that tank in the first position and you can also put Dire Bear in the second position. But putting it in the first position is better.
Now let's talk about its weaknesses. One of its biggest weaknesses is that it has no armor at all. And its mana cost is also high so we cannot play it in low mana battles. Its attack is also not very high. Three attack is not that impressive for 10 mana. So these were its weaknesses.
Now I will share my overall opinion with you guys. Overall I did not find this card very strong. I thought that it would be very strong but it felt just okay to me. Because its ability is only Cripple and it does not have any other ability. It also has no armor and its attack is only 3 which is low. So I did not find it a very strong card. Overall I would like to give it 7 out of 10. But its Cripple ability is very good. I mean when it attacks the enemy's maximum health becomes minus one so that is a very good thing. But just because of one ability I don't think it is a very strong card. So this was my overall opinion.
