an early bird i am. although in saying that, I mostly get patted awake by my cat, cheonsa (angel in korean) with an urgent need for breakfast. there are three furkids, with the brothers, samwise & hobbes, and they lead me up the passage, getting under my feet, like small lions, makes me chuckle, feel like a lion tamer ... small things hehe! usually it is still dark outside, coffee is a given and then i throw my curtains wide, jump back into bed and watch the world awaken. i live really close to the sea so it is wonderous to behold.
this is my screensaver ... go figure!
i am the gardener, amongst other things, i mow the lawn, trim the edges, vanquish weeds, there are many. i have a huge yard so i never quite win with having a perfect lawn everywhere, and there has been much rain, just as things were slowing down due to the approach of autumn. i am reclaiming a lot of the lawn and growing veggies, all organic. i have herbs, tomatoes, lettuce, gooseberries, peppers, chillies, pineapples, avocado trees (growing up beautifully), madumbis (african potato or jerusalem artichoke), they have huge leaves like elephants with a purple tinge, so magic. dandilions abound, and though i cut them down eventually they make me happy with their yellow faces turned to the sun. behold! my fairyfeet profile picture even has some! i am looking into making some medicinal tea with them, i have heard its has much health value.
this is a close up of the lawn and some of my dandilions .
