Here is the first part of my photo series, taken on my today's hiking tour. They present a period from early morning to 11 a.m.
Today’s 20 kilometres didn’t seem like much at first, yet it was a serious test for me. I did the first 10 kilometres with ease, didn’t feel any pain. There was a place where I hopped and ran.
I was happy and lively because I knew I was acting for a good cause.
Completing the Blue Track isn’t a sprint but a marathon, and it’s a bit like building myself on Hive . It can be done little by little, you don’t have to hurry, but it takes a lot of perseverance. So now I’m doing these two "marathons" together and I see them complementing each other nicely.
In the same way, walking is complemented by photography. There are so many beauties around you that it is worth capturing.
I continued the tour where I stopped last time (December 31, 2021). It was very warm then and muddy roads everywhere. But today it was very cold, without mud.
The first checkpoint was the Reservoir of Fehérvárcsurgó, at sunrise. Plenty of birds, wild ducks, geese and gulls mixed.
The first rays of the sun hit my face. I left my sunglasses at home, but I don’t mind at all.
This golden light is simply magical!
Guttamási is a small village in the hills.
Bakonykutipuszta - I walked past an electric shepherd, a little further away the cows and horses were just having breakfast.
I have seen a very interesting rock formation I am sure it is not simple limestone but dolomite because it is fragmented.
Blue hikers know well this old oak tree. It is on the border of Bakonykuti.
I noticed a small outdoor resting place on the outskirts of the village. I found it a very nice, cozy place and even had jazz music playing from the speakers. I had to ring and the owner came and served me delicious tea. I only spent 20 minutes here while the tea warmed me up. I would not have thought that such a buffet could be open in a small village of 150 inhabitants.
Walking from Bakonykuti to Kisgyón was another 10 kilometres. But that will be a next post.
