I did not know, there was a type of coffee as "Flat White" and it is actually celebrated!!
Recently, I have been to vacation to another country, and I fall madly in love with that country, be it for the people, their food, nature, the geography and economy, those beautiful, kind flower-boyss... you name it; everything impressed me so much, that I would start to either looking for a job or if not possible a husband to settle down there!

Until I found out COFFEE is quite rare there!
Fortunately, I took some coffee with me for a "just in case" situation et viola!
I was saved!

I had to walk kilometers to find one coffee-shop that sells appropriate coffee like Latte/Espresso/Americano! And even when I do find one, I could not find the hard, strong, warm taste I am used to, it is rather cold, unpoetical, and not to mention, as it is rare, it is expensive! However, their interior was rather charming and comforting compared to the coffee they made!
However, certainly, as if I found a big red flag, my dream to be owned by that country was shattered in pieces and had to run otherwise.
Coffee means that much to my life!

Though culturally, as a nation, we are more into "Tea" than "Coffee", as the nation produces a huge amount of tea since generations, however, the fame of 'coffee' has been rising more and more, particularly to the recent generation.
Yet, due to its unavailability in this country, it is a rather expensive taste to nurture for one!
Regardless, if one has become accustomed to the taste of coffee, they can never go back to life before tasting it, if you are a one caffeine enthusiast.

Traditionally, I grew up drinking tea more than water perhaps, though not all the cities are this prone towards caffeine, but some cities drink tea like water, and mine one has been one!
Initially, there was only Nescafe in this country (even till now actually), a bitter, sour, weird taste of coffee, that would make people avoid coffee, unless you are a highly caffeine addict! And if you want to drink a gracious coffee, which is often available in the high-end coffee shops and the price is not to mention it is luxury to afford 250-300 BDT for one coffee!
That certainly is a luxury even for a weekly basis!

Then a dear friend, Amor, introduced me to "Davidoff" coffee, which is hard to find, expensive, but affordable for home! And once I tasted Davidoff, I felt like "I was looking for a taste, and this is just it!" At least now, I have no regret of not being able to afford coffee from the outside. Just a blandly made black coffee gives meaning to life!!
The fragrance, the warmth, the lingering aftertaste of this coffee...is like a medicine!
It is so poetic, so aromatic, it really does add meaning to life, to my life!
And I often restock more than necessary for one single person out of fear of "what if they stop importing!" or "the price suddenly goes up".

So I was talking about that country I have recently been to. I would never understand how an entire country goes by without coffee, and only mostly with COLD/ bland teas! And the coffee shops that sell the actual coffee are mostly for tourists as I have noticed, because that is quite a tourist friendly country. I have not seen a single local soul order coffee!

All the contents are mine until mentioned otherwise!
