Subterranean Disruption - Lightpainting on Hive

Good morning Hiveworld and welcome to a new week. I hope it's a great one for you.

Generally whilst shooting light painting which consists of a few elements, I will end up with lots of test shots before arriving at the final result.

This can give me the necessary building blocks to make gifs.

Here I was creating a lightpainting of my friend Rob in a tunnel with a refractograph. Therefore I had images varying in brightness of the element with Rob and the same for the refractograph.

Once put together into a gif, it couldn't have worked out better as it made a kind of pulsating glow which literally brought the scene to life.

These gifs are always a by product of a nights shoot but I would love to spend some time with the express purpose of creating a stop motion.

Here is another one born out of a shoot in Wales with Natasha down by the lonely tree at Llyn Padarn.

I loved how working on Natasha's pose, when linked together made her dance.
