 acceptable. God asked them, "did you at all fast unto me, even to me" Why? God knows the intent of every heart and the major reason here is a perfect heart- a heart without iniquity. Anything done outside righteousness is unacceptable. He said, "if we regard iniquity in our heart, the Lord will not hear us." A heart with iniquity is imperfect". So anything done without a perfect heart is unacceptable. Look inward! For you not to waste your time: observing hunger strike and you call it fasting. Therefore, wake up, shake off the dust of sin out of your life and you won't miss your reward in Jesus name.
