We loaned out our floor scrubber to one of our tenants. They have a food preparation area that gets sticky. We outfitted the scrubber with brushes to help clean the concrete.
Unfortunately, it also makes the machine pick up smells from decomposing food. That, and they failed to drain and rinse the grey water tank. This makes the tank smell bad.
Another problem is that they drained the batteries and never charged them. This is bad for batteries. They need to be kept in a charged state. We have a battery maintained to keep the batteries in good condition. Hopefully they aren’t damaged.
We have swapped out the brushes for pads so that we can resume scrubbing out VCT flooring.
