Wow, I'm very respectful of your persistence, fasting and asking God about something that is your prayer until he was granted

I feel that fasting is shared by all religions, it's just different ways of doing and according to their respective beliefs.

Likewise in Islam, Fasting is one of the worship in my religion. Just do what had we believe in our faith :)
