I was watching prime time at 9 pm on an Indian national channel and e-waste topic was prime that day. I listened this news very carefully and came to know about various surprising things and some of them i want to share with you all.
Total weight of current waste cellphones world wide are more than the China Wall
Can you believe it? it was surprising moment for me hence my concentration become double and start listen carefully. I know the length of the China wall but now can assume the weight of that too. Current waste cellphone's weight is more than 50 Billion tones and increasing by 4% every year.
Total Height of Wasted cellphone is more than Himalaya Mount Everest
I became idle when listen this sentence that height of waste cellphones are more than a mountain currently.
Recycle can stop its weight and height
Not fully but recycling of cellphones is the only solution which can control on it other wise it can be proof as a big curse. There are many people who exchange their Smartphone in two or three years gap and there are many people who doesn't exchange their phone kept hat in side of table or in drawer. The Smartphone companies are manufacturing new models every six months hence intention to exchange increase in us.
