India is a country where there are multiple rituals for different different occasions. Today I am going to show a photo of a feast where people are taking their food sitting in earth in a long queue. You can see there are some food items in their leaf plate.
It is not fact that the person or family who has invited them for feast were not able to arrange table and chairs but it is a good example of village ritual where it is mandatory to enjoy the feast sitting in earth. I would like to add one thing here that if this feast was for marriage ceremony then the persons who are sitting in earth will sit on chairs. It means the photo is explaining the feast ritual happened after death of someone.
