Right now I feel rejected and yes it really hurts,
To love and then be dumped and burnt,
But I realize, they are not rejecting me,
They are rejecting their own insecurity,
I am not perfect, nobody is,
But I gave 100% to this,
And if it was not good enough for them,
Nothing I'd do would be the reason.
When you love someone you love their imperfections,
It's part of their affections,
For love covers over the little flaws you see
What matters is you're both happy.
I know that I did my best,
I gave my all did I invest.
So if love walks away from you,
Remember you did all you could do.
Let go and let God bring the right person for you,
For there is a love meant to be true.
