"By the way, some magician recently lit a fire so that it flashed at once," Marana said, looking at the fire.
Archer looked at the fire as well.
"Probably, the lucky owner of the magic amulet overdid it."
Everyone was silent, looking at the fire. Everyone thought about their own things. Siala remembered the dark eyes of the magician and the power she felt when the fire flared up.
"So you say that you have a magic talent? How do you know this?" Archer turned to Siala.
"Well, at the age of 8, I lit a fire in a furnace with the power of thought," the girl answered honestly.
"Interesting," said Archer. "Do you hope to become a battle mage in a short time?"
"Actually, no. I want to try myself in healing."
"Have you ever healed any wounds?"
Siala shook her head.
"Bad. Then most likely they won’t take to the healers. There mages are distributed according to their skills and you won’t be taught from scratch."
Marana raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"Well, they won’t they send her to the battlefield without consent?"
"No, I guess. I don’t know how they deal with dissenters."
Everyone was lost in thoughts again. Siala began to ponder the situation. It is not for anyone to practice healing. If the first time it doesn’t work, then she won’t be a healer. Then she needs to be ready for combat magic. War is war. She didn’t plan to run away from the very beginning. But still, it's scary to be on the battlefield.
"Will you teach me something from battle magic?" Siala asked softly.
"Well, I can certainly try, but such training is conducted with an internal protective barrier. I still don’t know how to create it. Someone can suffer. But the man with the amulet is probably a step higher than me, should already be able to, can you ask him?"
"And you there too..." the girl disappointedly answered.
"In what sense?" Archer was surprised, and Marana giggled softly.
The girl went down on the ground next to the log and lay down on her cloak. Marana continued to talk about something with the charming blonde. And Siala looked at the fire, from which until now there was a whisper of power. "I wonder what is an amulet of energy? Probably a strong thing. And how literally one can move a mountain with the power of thought? Does this happen? It would be interesting to see, but Archer said that there are only a few high mages. It's a pity. Interesting, could Marana become a high magician?"
Siala gradually fell asleep in these thoughts.
