The Wind's Music
One chilly spring day, as I sat by an open window, I began listening the rustling sounds of the trees. These peaceful sounds, born by the wind, were reinforced as it inspired the birds to sing and made other sounds. I found that I was comparing these blended nature sounds to the same calming effect of music. The wind seemed to be the leader of this natural symphony, and like music, it has the strength to stir the heart and spirit. The words for this poem came to mind on that chilly spring day.
