God already know our heart desires, we should always pray with fewer words believing that our prayers are already answered,each time we pray it must mot be in vain. We should take a proper position while praying to show our reverence for God, kneel down bow your head while praying, our God is not a casual God. We should not also pray like those in the synagogues, standing outside to pray so that they will be noticed, this is not right way to pray, for everyone has their own reward. God does not answer the prayers of sinners, it is an abomination unto the lord, if you are a sinner yoy will be ignored by God, God listens to his children, the ones that obeys his instructions and keeps his laws, he responds to their prayers and answer them quickly. It is not the number of words we utter that makes God to answer our prayer, he is out creator he already knows what we want from him, he knows the end from the beginning. He has already to answer us whenever we call upon his name. Whenever we have problem and it looks as if everyone has forsaken us, God is the only one that we can run to, he never leaves or forsake you, if you want call upon the name of God it must not be vain. Prayer is the means of communication with God. In Prov 15:8, the upright plea gives him joy, Jhn 9:31 God does not listen to sinner, but listen to only those who obey his commandments and worship him. Let our heart be pure always whenever we want to communicate with him.
This is what I learnt
- We should pray in faith believing he has already answered us
- our prayer life should be between us and God and not for people to see.
- We should worship God in spirit and in truth
Words are very powerful, if we obey the words taught today, our lives will never remain the same, we would hear and recieve from God more. We always engage in prayer with faith.
