I expected when I export a note with a format(pdf) and later edit the note and export in another format(docx), I should have 2 different exported notes in 2 different formats.
The edited note after being exported carries the extension of the file format of the originally exported note. I.e instead of the edited not to carry the 'filename.docx', it carries 'filename.pdf.docx,' 'pdf' being the initial exported file format. This makes the exported file unreadable by other apps as the files is now carrying 2 different file extensions.
