Marvel's exploration of cultures is a good initiative, but since they do it simply for publicity and marketing they don't reach the heart with the stories, since the only thing they look for is a ridiculous and forced inclusion, instead of focusing on creating a good story, the only thing Disney does is to tell everyone that they are inclusive.

But the series even though it lost a little sense and as you say damage control was more dangerous, it was pretty good.
