Geotech: Geotech is mainly covered by geotextiles and is used in civil engineering, underground, minefield replacement etc. Geotextiles are made from flexible fabrics and are used in soil protection, purification, sewerage. Fabric is used. 1) Oven 2) Needle punched 3) Heat bonded. Some of its special uses include: 1) Road construction 2) Railroad 3) River dam construction 4) Water discharge 5) Playground.

Agrotech :Textile fabrics used in agriculture, fish farming and forestry. Such as: net, spear, crop protection cloth etc.
Buildtech : Fabrics used for construction work. For example: shamiana, triple etc.
Mobiletech : Mobiletech is an important part of the technical textile. At Mobiletech, we modify the properties of textile materials and use them in important parts of automobiles, railways, ships, aircraft components and important parts of space. We use Mobiletech not only for safety but also for comfort. So, Textile materials used for building automobiles, shipbuilding, railways and airplanes etc. For example: helmets, automatic airbags, seat belts etc.
Protective : Textiles used to protect personal health. For example: gloves, bullet resistant jacket etc.
Indiotech: can purify various industrial products like ropes, brushes, sieves etc. and textiles used in different industries are classified under this category.
Hometech: Textile includes technical textiles which is currently a popular branch of the textile industry. Hometech textile refers to the materials used in home decoration which are helpful in beautifying the house. Hometech textile materials are made from knitting, weaving, crocheting, knotting or fiber.
Clothtech: Umbrella cloth, shoe sewing thread etc. is called clothtech.
Sporttech: Clothing used in leisure and play is called Sporttech.
PACTECH: The textile used for packaging is called PACTECH.
Technological textiles have very important uses and their use is increasing day by day. Medical, Agriculture, Horticulture, Road Construction, Building Construction, Roof Topping, Transportation Textile, Home Textile. Bangladesh have huge chance to do something special in this sector. Hopefully we can do !!
