In the leisure of work-weary life, human sometimes wants to find infinite peace in nature to overcome his fatigue. Nature also extends its form towards man. The tourism sector of Bangladesh composes a bridge of love between nature and man. Our Paharpur, Mahasthangarh, Mainamati and all the tourist centers in the heart of nature easily attract the attention of tourists. Also, the rows of hills of Bandarban, the huge waves of Cox's Bazar, the amazing beauty of the blue water of St. Martin will fascinate anyone.
Today, I will talk about St. Martin's Island, one of the tourist destinations in Bangladesh. It is an ideal place for sea lovers. So, you can go out for the purpose of blue-water Island. Today in this blog I will discuss St. Martin's Island Travel in detail. Let's take: -
St. Martin's Island is a small coral island in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal in the far south of Bangladesh. Its area is only 6 kilometers. St. Martin is located at the mouth of the Naf - River, about 9 km south of Teknaf in Cox's Bazar district and 6 km west of the coast of Myanmar. Coconut is found in abundance here & that’s why it is locally known as Coconut Ginger. It is a well-known place for sea lovers in Bangladesh.
During the tourist season, a few launches available from the mainland of Bangladesh every day. You can’t enjoy the real fun of St. Martin without staying one night there. It is best to stay two nights. In that case you can set aside 1 day for Chera Dwip, another day for St. Martin. Everyday tourists return in the afternoon, so the fun of visiting the island in the afternoon is different.
Now I will discuss about St. Martin's travels. Because many people don’t know how to go to St. Martin. As a result of not knowing well, many people are victims of many kinds of harassment.
At First Dhaka to Teknaf : -
Many buses available for Teknaf from various places including Sayedabad in Dhaka. Normally Eagle, S Alam, Shyamoli, Green Line, Saudia etc buses go to Teknaf. In this case it takes 10-12 hours to reach Teknaf from Dhaka. If you take a bus from Dhaka at 8 pm, you can get off at Damdamiya Jahaz Ghat or Teknaf town between 7-8 am and go by ship or trawler. However, if there is a long holiday or a special day, many people are delayed due to heavy traffic on the Dhaka-Chittagong road. In that case your ship is likely to be missed. Because all the ships leave teknaf at 9:30. In that case it can go by trawler. If you go to the trawler, you can keep a life jacket with you for safety.
Secondly, the ship from Teknaf to St. Martin: -
You have to go to the shipyard of Teknaf and buy a ship ticket. In this case you can also buy tickets online. Distance from Teknaf to St. Martin is 9 km. There is a long way to go by sea. The sea is calm in winter, so it is much safer to visit this time than other times. During the tourist season there are several ships or sea-trucks plying from Teknaf to St. Martin, including Green Line water buses, LC Kutubdia, Kajal, Kerry Sindbad. All ships depart from Teknaf Jetty for St. Martin's between 9am and 10am and depart for Teknaf from St. Martin's Jetty at 3pm. You can board the ship in the morning and return at noon.
In my opinion, it isn’t possible to enjoy the beauty of St. Martin in one day. The atmosphere of St. Martin at night is much more beautiful. The night sky illuminates the whole of St. Martin's Island. As well as the fun of eating marine fish and cycling on the shore is different. So, in one day you can go out for the purpose of this blue-water Island. I hope you will like it !!
Have A good day Everyone. Thank You.....
