The video I'm referring to is actually a debate between two of the leaders in their respective fields. That being gold and crypto currencies. Running at almost an hour and a half, Mr. Eric Voorhees (CEO of Shapeshift) and Mr. Peter Schiff (American personality and gold bull) go head-to-head about why their particular asset is better than the other. And it makes for one fascinating discussion.
Why I say it's a good introduction for newbies entering the space is mainly because of Mr. Voorhees and his eloquent way of listing all the advantages Bitcoin has over something like gold. I personally thought Voorhees ate his opponent for breakfast, but I guess you can be the judge of that.
The actual debate, which starts shortly after the main statements, is just as riveting. Watching new distinct technologies go up against each other. One age old and the other brand new, is a class act right the way through. You have two highly intelligent men dissecting their arguments meticulously whilst pulling no punches either. So if you've never heard of Bitcoin or ** crypto currencies before, this will either sell it to you or not, as the case may be. It's as simple as that.
To me, I see there being room enough for both assess to run independently of each other. There will be public bias, of course. No guess which camp I fall into. But when all is said and done, the points made in favour of mass adoption in the future, speak for themselves. A quality watch on a still very divisive subject.
