I woke up today feeling relaxed, and I even felt that today is a good day. I started by resuming my 8-5 pm work, and in between working, I checked up on my catfish and fed them. After feeding them, I resumed my work, and I even had a meeting for 11 am and 3 pm, so I decided to manage my laptop battery till 11 am so I could attend the meeting online, and I was able to do this.
After the 11 am meeting, I decided to make use of my solar power bank to charge my laptop as it was a bit sunny and I checked it had some charge. I was able to charge up to 90% untl it ran low, and this charging was for about 1 hour. Using the current 90% laptop battery, I was able to complete my work and was done by 2:30 pm, so I decided I would turn on my generator by 3 pm so I could attend the meeting.
When it was about 10 minutes to the meeting, I tried the generator several times, but it did not respond, and because it was almost time for the meeting, I had to quickly join using my phone, hoping it would come on before the meeting ended. After several attempts, it still did not come on. I even removed the plug, cleaned it, and inserted it back, but it still did not work. I was already getting pissed off at this point, but I was just pretending to be cool.
Eventually, the meeting I had joined using my phone ended, and I noticed my phone battery was running low, so I decided to use the remaining charge on my solar power bank to charge my phone. I was hoping the generator would eventually come on. After I was done with work, I decided to focus on the generator. I kept on retrying everything I knew, but the same result; it refused to come on.
At this point, I had lost my cool, so I called my friend to help me buy a new spark plug, and I believed this would solve all my problems. My friend came late at night, around 8 pm, so we started working on the generator, but the same result. Another friend even came to assist, but the same result. I was already frustrated and was asking why, now of all times, I was even asking myself what if it was when I urgently needed to pump water for my catfish, is this what I would be facing? Na wa ooh.
After all attempts failed, I had to resort to using my neighbor's generator. So I called him and explained the situation, and he offered me his generator. So that's how I can power my phone this night and pump. As for my own generator, I am hoping I will be able to fix it tomorrow, but seriously, I need to find a lasting solution to this problem, and I know there is, but the only issue is finance. I have a plan, and I know that one day all these things will be things of the past.
