Everest is a female Lhasa Apso dog breed, and she is about 4 years old. She had only been mated once and had given birth to about 5 puppies(1 stillbirth, 2 males, and 2 females), but all are gone now.
Why did I decide to adopt her?
So I was Everest's mother handler, and her name is Sky. She is a very stubborn and aggressive dog, and we would always fight whenever I came around to take care of her. In fact, I was partly responsible for her first and only mating as I did the outsourcing for a male stud and eventually found one, and that was how Everest and her siblings were born.
Initially, the owner planned to raise Sky and her puppies, but plans changed, and I was contacted and asked if I could adopt one of Sky puppies, then I said yes and choosed Everest. I had always liked her fur colors (White and Brown) because the white reminded me of my former dog (black and white - Mixzy).
I adopted Everest because I needed a companion at that moment in my life as I had just gotten a remote Job and I know staying home all day without a companion would have it’s own side effect. Having once raised a dog had made me know the importance of owning a Dog. I know it comes with a lot of responsibility, but to me it’s really worth it.
Having Everest around reminder of Mixzy, although Mixzy was a male dog, I had to start afresh training her to wake me up when she wants to urinate or defecate and going out for early morning walks and so on. Truth be told, the begining of our training was bloody as she bit me for the first-time as she had not really know me too well and she was aggressive her like mummy but eventually we bonded and became best of friends even to an extend I call her my baby girl.
Currently, she is on heat again, and I am planning on mating her, and she has around 3 suitable males, but I would make the choice for her. Even local dogs around have been coming around to ask her out, and how did they find out, it’s because every morning I take her outdoors to urinate and defecate, and this has attracted them.

When she is done mating, I plan to provide a weekly update here in the Hive Pets community on how she is going, hopefully she gets pregnant, and we have our first Hive Lhasa puppies. I hope Everest and I are welcome here, and are you interested in knowing how she is doing?
