Como ya estamos en la semana mayor del año, la Semana Santa, donde a parte de estas festividades religiosas, tambien en muchas partes celebramos con los alimentos.

Aqui en mi pais hacemos el tradicional pastel o cuajao de pescado, donde el principal ingrediente son los huevos de gallina.
Por eso quiero demostrarles como hice una bella huevera con material reciclado, donde usé como base un porta tazas de cafe, que me habia quedado guardado.

Primero voy cortando el carton de huevos en donde voy a formar la gallinita, sacando con su forma de la cabeza y su colita. Luego la pinto con la tempera blanco, dejo que se seque muy bien.

First I am cutting the egg carton where I am going to form the hen, taking out the shape of the head and tail. Then I paint it with white tempera, I let it dry very well.

Aqui mi hija ayudandome a pintar, porque ella tambien le gusta las manualidades y siempre me dice que me quiere ayudar.

Una vez secado la gallinita, procedo a pegarle el pico y su cresta, para luego con la pintura negra voy haciendo los ojos, y asi se le ve la forma de la gallina.

En la base una vez limpia, agarro el mecatillo y lo voy pegando en la parte de abajo como si fuera un nido, con el silicon caliente.

Tambien que cada palito le voy pegando un poquito de mecatillo como si fuera el nido de las gallinitas.

Ya listo esta parte, con las hojas secas de maiz, voy cortando y sacando la forma de unas flores para adornar en la parte de arriba.

Saque unos petalos y en el centro la misma hoja de maiz le hice como su pistilo, voy uniendo cada petalo para ir formando la flor y en el centro le coloco el pistilo.
Le hice unos pequeños punticos con el color rojo.

Ahora bien, ya listo cada una de estas partes, procedo a colocar y pegar las gallinitas en su espacio de nido y en la parte de arriba le pego las flores secas.
