Recently, Celer Network has entered into a strategic partnership with the public chain DxChain, which is dedicated to blockchain data storage and computing. The two projects will cooperate in depth in technology to jointly promote the infrastructure construction of the blockchain world and provide a complete set of technical solutions for blockchain developers.154467726416120.jpg
In the blockchain world, there is a widely discussed concept - "impossible triangle", which refers to "decentralization" and "scalability" in a blockchain system. "Security" is a triangular relationship that cannot be taken into consideration at the same time. It must be sacrificed at the expense of one of the above performances in exchange for other performance improvements. However, with the continuous development of blockchain technology, this Scalability Trilemma on blockchain scalability has been questioned and challenged by different researchers. In fact, it is difficult to solve all the problems of the blockchain in any public chain, but the cooperation between the chain and the chain system can optimize the performance of the blockchain system to the greatest extent. Since the development of blockchain technology, it still faces many application bottlenecks. For example, it can only perform transaction calculations and cannot provide general-purpose calculations. It can only store small-book data and cannot provide effective privacy protection mechanisms. Currently, some projects focus on improving the architecture or consensus design of Bitcoin and Ethereum to optimize the performance of the public chain. Another part of the project, such as DxChain, hopes to tap the future of the public chain from the level of useful computing. The DxChain team firmly believes that the new generation of public chains must be able to solve both storage and computing problems in order to fundamentally break through the bottleneck of blockchain technology development and realize the real landing of future commercial applications. Therefore, DxChain designed a "three-in-one" system architecture to solve data computing, storage and privacy protection issues: one main chain is responsible for transaction maintenance, two side chains are responsible for data storage and calculation, by making the main chain immutable Combined with the elasticity of the side chain, the main chain performance problem is well solved. Through the above architecture design, DxChain hopes to create a decentralized network system that enables high-value data storage and transactions, allowing users to truly own their own data. Currently, DxChain has released a beta version of the test chain and a test chain browser, and plans to officially launch the storage sidechain test network by the end of 2018.

As a sub-chain expansion platform, CelerNetwork will develop and build its chain expansion solution on top of DxChain to further enhance its scalability. Through the establishment of the generalized state channel model, Celer hopes not only can significantly improve the TPS of the public chain, but also solve the transaction delay and the user experience of the smart contract application layer. The layered architecture of the Celer Network is divided into three layers. The bottom layer, called cChannel, specifies how to build a generalized state channel between two or more nodes (building a smart contract executed under a chain). With these status channels, Celer can further build a sub-network of state channels. The second layer of cRoute gives a set of routing algorithms to help the system determine the transmission path from the state sender to the receiver. The top layer is called cOS. It is an operating system similar to Windows or Linux. It encapsulates various complex under-chain logic (such as state management, communication protocols, etc.), which provides developers with a very simple Development framework. Without cOS, application developers need to write a complete system under the chain, which is very time consuming and labor intensive. At the beginning of October, Celer released the test network and SDK of version number Centauri, which attracted the attention of the block sects of the blockchain industry. DxChain is dedicated to solving decentralized storage and computing problems, and Celer is focused on solving high-concurrency bottlenecks in the public chain through chain transactions and chain-based smart contracts. The technical strategic cooperation between the two projects will provide developers with a complete set of technical solutions for secure, high storage and computing speeds in a decentralized environment.
