I returned to work after two weeks of vacation; though I would like to extend my holiday, I have a new responsibility that was assigned to me before I left Cebu.
It's difficult to adjust when I used to wake up late in the morning yet needed to be on time.
Because I am sleep deprived and have promised a friend that when I return, we would have coffee together during our lunch break, I invite her to accompany me to Starbucks.
I paid for the coffee and she paid for the doughnut; I wasn't expecting much, but the doughnut was delicious. It was such a nice opportunity to catch up and ask what I'd missed in the previous days while I was in our province, and while I wasn't able to visit my coworkers due to my new job role, we will definitely get to bond once our schedules coincide.
