We Filipinos adore sweets and are quite inventive when it comes to food. No matter where you go, you will always want to try our classic desserts.
I can assure you that these sweet treats are excellent. All I can say is that each town or city has its own special product or dessert that they are proud of.
I was in the mall after my consultation and couldn't keep my gaze away from the vendor on the corner selling Kakanin and other Delicacy.
I decided to go grab some of them after I had everything I needed at the grocery store.
Believe it or not, I want to eat all of them, but I can't, so I settle for two.
I paid 30 pesos for three pieces of Cotchinta. Every time I bought this, I was reminded of my mother, who used to make them and sell several of them.
I also bought a Linusak na Saging for 20 pesos. This is delicious when paired with Kinilaw or Ceviche.
I was relieved to get home and be able to taste and savor it after a long day. With these experiences, I can't wait to return to our province and have a good time, as well as to try our local specialties.
xoxo :)
