Eavesdropping is underrated. Today I was hanging out at a cafe and the barista asked the client if they wanted azúcar and the client didn't understand and the barista didn't speak English. I chimed in sugar. That prompted a conversation leading to additional connections. From that I pointed him to a place to a stay within his budget and musicians within the area. If I wouldn't have eavesdropped and inserted myself none of this would have happened.

It's a beautiful thing to insert yourself, albeit respectfully.
