AND Function

Function Type:

Logical

Description:

AND function returns TRUE if all of its arguments are TRUE.
1 FALSE argument will result in FALSE.
This is most commonly used with IF function which also needs logical tests.

Logical Operators

Logical test results in a TRUE or FALSE.
Logical tests utilize Logical Operators.

Then we can assign two different results for when it is TRUE and for FALSE.

Function Structure:

=AND(logical1, [logical2])

Argument Breakdown:

logical1 - This is the first condition or logical value to be evaluated. This is a boolean that results with either a TRUE or FALSE.

[logical2] - This is the additional condition or logical value to be evaluated. This is a boolean that results with either a TRUE or FALSE. We can have more than 2 conditions or logical test in this function. Square brackets [] means that it is optional so having only 1 logical test in your AND function will still make it work fine.
