Second part in my series of lovely places in Ohio. Cascade Valley is one of my favorite parks to visit. I find that metro parks especially are always nice. Leading into the park is a open path. But what I really enjoy is the little walking trail. They have a nice 1.2 walkintrail that loops in a circle coming out near the entrance. This also happens to have a nice picnic area next to it. The walking trail is always well kept too. Only time it can be difficult is when it rains.
Trees here are all so tall too. It's nice to look at day or night.
There's a river nearby. Came out a bit blurry. Some reason I didn't think to take more pics of it. I probably will next time.
Favorite part was the trees, this park is especially nice in fall. People complain about Ohio a lot but we have a lot of green and naturally beautiful landscape. Even the cities can have a lot of green in them. After walking the 1 mile circle I went up to a area with a picnic area. It's up a massive hill which is perfect for sledding in winter. During summer it gives a great view. Hope you enjoy these.
