Hahaha that is a seriously chewed boot!

My cat is the same. No shop toys will ever satisfy her. No fluffy ones, infused with catnip, special strings on stick, feathers.. nothing. The best toys are some candy papers, old bags, boxes (of course!). Even flat newspaper is better!
